Salli's Messy Little Blog (Guaranteed 100% Non-allergenic)

Saturday, December 04, 2004
We went to Barnes and Noble today.
Hardly earth-shattering news, since we go once or twice a month, if not more often. But I had a nice time, bought several things, and only spent twenty-four dollars.

In a little while I'll have to get dressed. They're having an event through some of the historic downtown churches tonight where people go from site to site, seeing the building and hearing music. It's sponsored by the historical society, or something similar. The bell choir is playing on extremely short notice, heaven help us, and we'll have to play multiple times over two hours. Which is okay, except I'll have to listen to whatever else our esteemed (and incompetant) music director put together all those times, and if it's bad the pain will be compounded by the presence of an audience that paid for the priviledge. Our sanctuary is not impressive after dark (the best feature of the church is our stained glass - some of the windows are truly spectucular - that is only effective when it is sunny), so it needs all the help it can get.

The best part being that we're practicing at 5:00 and playing until 8:00, so dinner will be late.
