Last night was Family Night. The best part was that they completely direguarded the age limit, letting in at least as many little ones as K-2 students. It never occurs to anyone that programing, once geared to a specific age, cannot be altered at the drop of a hat. Books, games, and crafts for K-2 and 3-5 have to be different to be particularly meaningful to either group, and throwing unsurpervised pre-K kids (most of whom probably haven't been in any kind of school envirnment) into the mix isn't fair to volunteer teachers, actual students, or even the three years olds causing the problems.
