Something you don't see every day.
It's Lizeyl, the Lady of the Forest, sometimes known as the Green Lady, and a powerful Eshilés Loyhalé no matter what you call her. Here, she appears a lot closer to Lizeyl, one of the most powerful among the Eshil Loyhalel, than to her Lady of the Forest persona. (The starry background is a clue.)

Demi-goddess form or not, I still couldn't resist a vine-like effect for her hair.

The base, of course, is one of Sarah's. She's the only doll I've done this week, because I've been very busy. Busy won't stop until the end of the month, but I have to take a break on occasion.

I've lately been playing
Neoquest II which is so incredibly boring and monotonous that it has a mesmerizing effect on me.

We've had lovely weather this week. First, it snows and snows and piles up outside. Then, it gets a little warmer and rains, creating slush and enormous puddles (there's a lake in front of the door to my end of the door every time it so much as sprinkles) and making the ice that doesn't melt exceptionally slick. Then, it gets cold again and all that water (most of which stuck around because it had no where to go—the ground is still frozen and there's all that ice in the way) freezes into thick sheets of ice. Then, it snows and we have a bit of traction... until the cycle repeats. The rainy stage is definitely the worse—one has to detour around puddles and dangerous icey spots, and it's altogether nasty.

But we're back to snow at the moment, so it's all good.

It's party weekend here on campus. It's the annual enormous formal (with requisite corny theme), for which we forget we're a school of English majors and replace the letter "f" with "ph" whenever possible. "Phling" spawns all sorts of words so bad they're beyond cringing, and everyone gets drunk and disorderly by the end of the night. It's um, well, that time of the month, which just isn't good in a formal dress. (I'm so wearing my black-with-purple-glitter-and-frilled-skirt dress.) Which, come to think of it, puts a convenient limit on the time we can spend at Phling. Darn. The party before hand at our friends' apartment should be better than the actual event, anyway.

And now... shopping!
