If I write a paper on Aristotle I do not have to write a paper on Plato. But I'd be writing a paper on Aristotle, and would that really be any better? My main thought is that it would be more recent. Also, since it wasn't on the midterm, it wouldn't be old, very boring territory. (Instead, it would be new, very boring territory!) And I'd only need to get stuff from the first book of the Ethics, which is better than trying to find what I want in the Republic somewhere. Of course, the downside is that I'd be writing a paper on part of the first book of the Ethics, and who really wants to do that? ~Erin, 6:44 PM Comments: Post a Comment
