I have housing. Yay. It's sort of in frat territory, but there isn't any division on our floor. And we have lovely bay windows and a convenient location. Sarah is across the hall. It's one of the three "historic" dorms, which more or less date back to the beginning of the college. (Except the one that burned down... the replacement obviously isn't as old as the original would have been.) Other than the dirty sandstone, you can tell these buildings are old because the hallways are narrow and there's a slight shortage of amenities such as kitchens and laundry rooms. (But we're close to both, so it's not really an issue.) The housing lottery is really very painless when you're numbers three and five, number two has opted out, and number four is part of a block that can't be in the dorm one wants. (There were only six women's doubles available in our building.) For once, my prayer group has gotten ahold of the chapel in the evenings, so we've had compline every night this week. It's really very nice. :) ~Erin, 11:01 PM Comments: Post a Comment
